2019 Cinema Verite unveils poster

The official poster for the upcoming edition of the Cinema Verite, Iran's major documentary film festival, has been unveiled.

The poster for the 13th Cinema Verite was unveiled during a ceremony attended by the festival’s secretary Mohammad Hamidi-Moqaddam and a group of documentarians in Tehran on Wednesday.

During the ceremony, two separate posters were unveiled to honor Manouchehr Tayyab and Ahmad Zabeti-Jahromi, pioneers of documentary filmmaking.

Organized by the Documentary and Experimental Film Center, the first edition of the Cinema Verite was held in 2007.

Over the past decade it has emerged as one of the important events on Iran's documentary film calendar.

The 13th edition of the Cinema Verite will be held in Tehran on December 9-16, 2019.
